NTL VOLLEYBALL: WILLIAMSON FALLS TO CANTON FOR FIRST LOSS OF THE SEASON (2024-09-24)
Northern Tier WEST Sports ReportCANTON — Williamson lost their first match of the season, falling 3-1 to the host Lady Warriors in NTL small school volleyball action here Tuesday.
Williamson edged Canton 26-24 to take the first set before the hosts rallied to take the next three .. 25-23, 25-21 and 25-15.
Abby Gehman led Williamson with 7 kills while Olivia Nolan, Aubrey Wells and Leah Earle each had 4. Gehman added 11 service points with 6 aces and Earle had 6 points with an ace.
Raegan VanGorden had 23 assists, 14 digs and 6 points with 2 aces, Madisen Jones had 3 kills and a block and Joelie Stephens had 25 digs and 8 points.
Williamson falls to 6-1 on the season with the loss and is set to host the winless Sayre Redskins on Thursday.
