NTL GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY: KOSEK WINS BUT WELLSBORO GOES 0-2 AT TRI-MEET (2024-09-24)
Northern Tier WEST Sports ReportATHENS — Wellsboro’s Lauren Kosek won the girls race at a tri-meet with Wyalusing and Athens Tuesday, but the Lady Hornets fell to both the Rams and host Wildcats.
Athens beat Wellsboro 20-42 and Wyalusing won 21-37 over the Hornets.
Kosek was 1st (20:51), followed by teammates Sophia Yoder in 12th (26:24), Kara Blackwell in 16th (27:40), Anja Przybycien in 17th (28:00) and Luisa Crocco in 19th place (31:58).
