NTL VOLLEYBALL: WILLIAMSON TOPS CV IN NORTHERN TIOGA MATCH-UP (2024-10-01)
Northern Tier WEST Sports ReportWESTFIELD — Northern Tioga neighbors Williamson and Cowanesque Valley faced each other Tuesday night, with the Lady Warriors earning a 3-set sweep of the host Lady Indians.
Williamson won the first set 25-6, the second 25-22 and the third 25-15.
Raegan VanGorden had 26 assists, 14 digs and nine service points with four aces for the Warriors, while Leah Earle had 17 digs, seven kills, 13 points and seven aces.
Abby Gehman had eight kills, Aubrey Wells had five, Madisen Jones had eight points and five kills, Joelie Stephens had 13 digs, two kills and 12 service points and Bailey Snyder had seven digs.
Stats for CV were not available.
Williamson (8-1) is scheduled to return to action Thursday at home against Northeast Bradford, while CV (4-7) plays at home Thursday against Canton.
