NTL GIRLS SOCCER: WILLIAMSON TOPS NORTH PENN-MANSFIELD 2-0 ON SENIOR NIGHT (2024-10-01)
Northern Tier WEST Sports ReportTIOGA JUNCTION, PA — The Williamson girls soccer team celebrated senior night Tuesday by beating North Penn-Mansfield 2-0.
The Lady Warriors got their scores in the first half .. the first goals of the season for both senior Delaney Owens and classmate Olivia Meisner. Anna Lee assisted on Owens’ score.
Williamson held a 21-4 advantage in shots on goal and had nine corner kicks while NP-Mansfield had none.
Keeper Ashley Woodring had two saves in goal for Williamson and Avalon Rew had 19 stops for the Tigers.
Williamson (8-5) returns to action Saturday at Towanda, while Mansfield (0-12-1) is scheduled to host Athens on Thursday.
