NTL GIRLS SOCCER: LADY HORNETS EDGED BY WYALUSING IN DOUBLE OVERTIME (2024-10-03)
Northern Tier WEST Sports ReportWYALUSING — Wellsboro was held without a shot on goal here Thursday and fell to the host Lady Rams 1-0 as the Hornets surrendered the game’s lone goal in the second overtime period.
The Rams had 12 shots on goal as Wellsboro keeper Jadyn Dunlap had 10 saves in net and got help from the Hornets’ defense on another stop.
Wyalusing held a 4-3 edge in corner kicks.
Wellsboro battled Wyalusing to a 0-0 draw two weeks ago and had another double-overtime, 0-0 tie with NEB a week after that.
The Hornets (2-7-2) are scheduled to return to action on Monday with a trip to Port Allegany.
