HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS SOCCER: TIGERS TAKE NON-LEAGUE LOSS AT CAMPBELL-SAVONA (NY) (2024-10-05)
Northern Tier WEST Sports ReportCAMPBELL, NY — The North Penn-Mansfield girls soccer team took a road trip to take on Campbell-Savona Saturday and came home with a 3-1, non-league loss.
The Lady Tigers were down 1-0 at halftime and tied the match with an Olivia Likens goal off an Abaigeal Garverick assist just six minutes into the second half. C-S scored midway through the second and with under seven minutes left to provide the final.
Campbell-Savona had a 24-3 advantage in shots on goal with Mansfield keeper Avalon Rew making 21 saves in net.
North Penn-Mansfield (0-14-1) is scheduled to return to action on Monday at home against Montgomery (7-6).
