NTL GIRLS SOCCER: WILLIAMSON ROLLS TO 6-2 WIN OVER TOWANDA (2024-10-05)
Northern Tier WEST Sports ReportTOWANDA — Williamson outscored the host Lady Knights 3-1 in each half of play to earn a 6-2 win in NTL girls soccer play here Saturday.
Zeraya Wilson finished with a pair of goals and three assists while Maddie Bailey had two goals and an assist.
Bailey and Wilson connected for the first two Williamson goals and Torrie Stratton added a third first half goal off an assist from Ella Churchill as the Lady Warriors took a 3-1 lead into intermission.
Wilson took a pass from Bailey and scored after the break, then assisted on a Robyn Cummings goal and finally, scored the Warriors last goal off a Stratton helper.
Williamson had a 23-12 advantage in shots on goal while both clubs had four corner kicks.
Keeper Ashley Woodring made seven saves in net for the Lady Warriors
Williamson (9-5) is scheduled to host Athens at Cowanesque Valley High School on Wednesday at 6 p.m.
