HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS SOCCER: WELLSBORO DROPS NON-LEAGUE MATCH TO LOYALSOCK (2024-10-12)
Northern Tier WEST Sports ReportLOYALSOCK — The Wellsboro girls soccer team surrendered a goal in each half of their match-up with non-league Loyalsock Saturday and fell to the Lady Lancers, 2-0.
The Lady Hornets were outshot 16-2 and Loyalsock held a 4-3 edge in corner kicks. Keeper Jaydn Dunlap made 14 saves in goal for Wellsboro.
The Hornets fall to 5-8-2 on the season with the loss and have threee games remaining, starting Monday at Jersey Shore.
