NTWSR PRESENTS THE LAUREL HEALTH 'ATHLETES OF THE WEEK' (2024-10-13)
Northern Tier WEST Sports ReportTIOGA COUNTY, PA — This week's Laurel Health 'Athletes of the Week' are Wellsboro sophomore cross country runner Lauren Kosek and Wellsboro football’s freshman QB Griffin Morral.
Kosek ran an 18:36.7, a PR by a minute, to win the girls’ varsity race at the NTL Cross Country Coaches’ Invitational Saturday.
Morral completed 17-of-25 passes for 261 yards and four touchdowns through the air and added 85 yards rushing and a TD on the ground in the Hornets’ 46-34 loss to Canton.
