Northern Tier WEST Sports ReportJERSEY SHORE, PA — Wellsboro went into double overtime with 2-14 Jersey Shore on Monday but the host Lady Bulldogs scored with 39 seconds left to earn the non-league win.
Jersey Shore had a 10-7 advantage in shots on goal and a 4-3 edge in corner kicks.
Jadyn Dunlap saved all seven shots she faced in goal for the Hornets while Annie Gehman recorded two stops.
Wellsboro drops to 5-9-2 on the season with the loss and the Hornets have two games remaining, starting Tuesday at home against Williamson.
