NTL VOLLEYBALL: COWANESQUE VALLEY TOPS NTL-II LEADER NEB (2024-10-15)
Northern Tier WEST Sports REPORTWESTFIELD — Cowanesque Valley snapped a five game losing streak here Tuesday, handing 16-1 Northeast Bradford just their second loss of the season with a 3-1 win over the Panthers.
The Lady Indians won the first two sets .. 26-24 and 25-22 .. before NEB rolled to a 25-7 win in the third set. CV closed out the Panthers with a 25-22 win in the fourth.
Lily Vargeson recorded 24 assists for CV and added two aces and two kills, while Lilah LaBarron and Madison Hartman had five kills each and Autumn Mead had four aces and seven kills.
CV, now 5-10 on the season with five matches remaining, will return to action Thursday with a visit to Athens to take on the 2-8 Lady Wildcats.
