Northern Tier WEST Sports ReportATHENS — Williamson scored with 8.1 seconds remaining in regulation to earn a 1-1 draw with Athens here Tuesday afternoon in NTL boys soccer action.
Senior Brayden Onofre put the Wildcats on the board with 18:22 remaining in the first half.
For more than 58 minutes, the Wildcats maintained the one-goal advantage, until Williamson’s Jordan Monroe found the back of the net for the Warriors with 8.1 seconds left to tie the game at 1-1.
The two teams played 20 more minutes of scoreless soccer.
Both teams had 4 shots-on-goal and Williamson had an 8-7 edge in corner kicks.
Williamson finishes the regular season with an 11-5-2 record.
