NTL GIRLS SOCCER: LADY WARRIORS BLANK WYALUSING (2024-10-16)
Northern Tier WEST Sports ReportWYALUSING — Williamson earned their second clean sheet in as many days as the Lady Warriors blanked the host Lady Rams 3-0 in NTL girls soccer play here Wednesday.
After a scoreless first half, Ella Churchill was able to open the scoring two minutes into the second off an assist from Torri Stratton.
Zeraya Wilson then scored a pair of goals just 15 seconds apart about 10 minutes in to provide the 3-0 final score. Maddie Bailey and Anna Lee assisted on Wilson’s goals.
The Warriors had an 18-12 advantage in shots on goal while Wyalusing held a 2-0 edge in corner kicks.
Keeper Ashley Woodring and the Williamson defense recorded their second straight clean sheet as Woodring had 12 saves.
Williamson, now 12-5 on the season, will play their final regular season match on Saturday at Hughesville (11-4-1).
