NTL VOLLEYBALL: COWANESQUE VALLEY TOPPED BY ATHENS (2024-10-17) Northern Tier WEST Sports Report ATHENS — Coming off a win over small school leader Northeast Bradford (17-2) on Tuesday, Cowanesque Valley had a bit of a letdown against 3-10 Athens on Thursday, falling in straight sets to the host Wildcats in NTL volleyball action.
Athens won the first three sets, 25-22, 25-14 and 28-26.
Lily Vargeson had 2 kills and 15 assists for the Lady Indians while Lilah LaBarron had 5 kills and Madison Hartman had an ace and 4 kills.
CV, now 5-11 on the season, is scheduled to return to play on Friday at home against Galeton.
