NTL VOLLEYBALL: WILLIAMSON SWEEPS ATHENS IN FINAL PLAYOFF TUNE-UP (2024-10-24) Northern Tier WEST Sports Report ATHENS — Williamson wrapped up their regular season schedule here Thursday, sweeping the host Athens Lady Wildcats 3-0.
Abby Gehman led Williamson at the net, collecting 16 kills on the night, while Leah Earle added seven kills and setter Raegan VanGorden had five. VanGorden also handed out 30 assists and had 10 digs and six service points for the Warriors.
Earle had 19 points with five aces and had nine digs, while Joelie Stephens added 21 digs, two assists and two kills, Sophie Sargent had 11 points, two blocks and two kills and five digs, Madisen Jones had two kills and two blocks and Aubrey Wells had four digs and two kills.
Williamson finishes the regular season with a 12-4 record and will be the No. 4 seed in the upcoming District 4, Class 2A playoffs.
