HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS BASKETBALL: CV FALLS IN JACK BUSH FINAL (2024-12-07)
Northern Tier WEST Sports ReportWESTFIELD — Cowanesque Valley lost 46-32 in the championship game of their Jack Bush Memorial Tournament to Wellsville here Saturday.
Wellsville led 12-9 after a quarter and 22-15 at halftime. They won the third quarter 8-7 and the fourth 16-10 to provide the final.
Starr Ordway and Ella Churchill each scored 12 points to lead the Lady Indians while Lily Vargeson added 4 points and Ashley Woodring and Jesse Quick each had 2 points.
CV is scheduled to return to play on Friday with a visit to Troy.
