Northern Tier WEST Sports ReportTIOGA JUNCTION, PA — Williamson scored the most points they have all season Tuesday, but the Warriors fell to the visiting Athens Wildcats, 85-55.
Athens took a 23-14 lead after the first quarter and led 53-30 at halftime. A 21-11 advantage in the third for Athens led to a 14-11 fourth for Williamson.
Jack Nolan led Williamson with 21 points, including 9 in the second quarter and 6 in the final frame. Kayden Moon added 13 points while Braxton Watson had 5, Izaiah Croft had 4, AJ Hargarther had 3 and Scott Campbell and Alex Watson had 2 each.
The Warriors (0-3) are scheduled to visit Towanda on Thursday.
