NTL GIRLS BASKETBALL: WILLIAMSON FALLS TO TOWANDA (2024-12-18)
Northern Tier WEST Sports ReportTIOGA JUNCTION, PA — Williamson fell behind the visiting Lady Black Knights early and couldn’t catch up, losing 57-36 in an NTL crossover game Wednesday.
Towanda used a pair of big quarters to pull away from the Lady Warriors .. taking a 22-6 lead after the first quarter and doubling Williamson up .. 50-25 .. after the third. The Warriors did win the second and final frames .. both by an 11-7 score.
Kenna Thomas scored 13 points to lead Williamson, while Olivia Meisner had 11 points, Bailey Snyder and Avery Vinsek each had 4 points and Olivia Nolan and Maddy Jones each scored 2 points.
The Warriors fall to 1-4 on the season with the loss. They’re scheduled to visit Wellsboro on Friday.
