HIGH SCHOOL WRESTLING: THREE CHAMPS LIFT WARRIORS TO 2ND PLACE FINISH AT SW MOUNTAINEER INVITE (2025-01-04)
Northern Tier WEST Sports ReportSOUTH WILLIAMSPORT — Williamson crowned three tourney champs and finished second at the South Williamsport Mountaineer Invitational on Saturday.
Zander Wilson went 3-0 to win at 107 pounds while Luke Sottolano went 3-0 to take the 285 pound title and Hunter Simonds was 2-0 to win at 121 pounds.
Two Warriors came in second place as Walker Hyde was 2-1 at 114 pounds and Ben Freeman went 2-1 at 215.
Steve Olson went 4-1 to place third at 160 pounds and Tim Freeman was 3-2 and took fourth at 189.
Anthony Baker place fifth at 152 pounds after going 4-2, Lhandyn Nauman went 2-3 to place sixth at 145 pounds and Karter Osgood was 1-2 at 127 pounds and placed seventh.
Williamson scored 179 team points, behind only tourney champ Pleasant Valley’s 194.5 points.
