Athens took a 14-13 lead after one quarter of play before the Tigers exploded for a 21-2 second frame .. led by 10 Cooper Shaw points .. and North Penn-Mansfield took a 34-16 lead into the break. 

Shaw finished with a double-double of 18 points and 10 rebounds to lead Mansfield while Tate Strange added 13 points in the Tigers’ 8th win of the season.

Mansfield continued to dominate the Wildcats in the third and took a 51-25 lead into the final frame, where they edged the hosts 11-10 to provide the final.

Jason Harer and Kevin Clemente-Vasquez scored 7 points each and Harer grabbed 12 rebounds, while Andy Hermansen scored 6 points, Brady Stetter had 4, Kaiden Choplosky had 3 points and Talon D’Angelo and Alex Davis had 2 points each with Davis adding 8 assists.

North Penn-Mansfield (8-2) is scheduled to return to action Thursday with a game at Wyalusing (1-7).
