NTL GIRLS BASKETBALL: LITZELMAN'S 32 NOT ENOUGH TO AVOID MOUNTIE LOSS TO CANTON (2025-01-10)
Northern Tier WEST Sports ReportCANTON — Haley Litzelman scored 32 points for North Penn-Liberty but the host Lady Warriors beat the Lady Mounties 54-42 in small school girls basketball action here Friday night.
Canton took leads of 6-4 after one quarter, 17-13 at the break and 37-34 after a 21-20 North Penn-Liberty third quarter where Litzelman had 19 of her points.
Litzelman added 10 rebounds for a double-double in the game, while Kaylee Graham scored 8 points and Kendall Graham had the Mounties’ final 2 points.
The loss snaps a two-game win streak for North Penn-Liberty, now 4-6 on the season. They’re scheduled to visit Sayre (1-8) next Wednesday.
