HIGH SCHOOL BOYS BASKETBALL: WILLIAMSON BEATS GALETON FOR SECOND WIN (2025-01-20)
Northern Tier WEST Sports ReportGALETON — Williamson earned their second win of the season Monday as they built a double-digit, halftime lead on the host Tigers and won, 60-50.
Jack Nolan led the Warriors’ scoring attack with 20 points and Braxton Watson had 18 as Williamson jumped out to leads of 11-8 after the first quarter and 27-17 at the break.
Galeton outscored Williamson 17-14 in the third but the Warriors came back with a 19-16 final frame to seal the win.
Maddox Hartman scored 9 points for Williamson, including 7 in the final quarter, while Izaiah Croft added 8 points and A.J. Hargarther had 5 points in the win.
Williamson (2-11) is scheduled to return to action on Wednesday at Wyalusing.
