NTL GIRLS BASKETBALL: LADY TIGERS SNAP FIVE GAME SKID WITH WIN OVER SAYRE (2025-01-23)
Northern Tier WEST Sports ReportSAYRE — The Lady Tigers put three players in double figures and turned a 10-point halftime lead into a 30-point win as they topped Sayre 54-24 here Thursday.
Kameron Lightner scored 16 points while Claire Dominick added 15 and Maddie McNamara had 13 as the three led North Penn-Mansfield to a 12-6 first quarter lead and a 24-14 advantage at the break.
McNamara scored 6 in a 16-7 Tiger third quarter and Lightner led a 14-3 fourth with 9 points.
Lightner added 8 rebounds, 4 steals and 3 assists while Dominick had 7 boards and 4 steals and McNamara had 7 steals and 2 assists.
Avalon Rew had 4 points for the Tigers while Raegan Watkins, Addilyn Lehman and Keeha Rieppel each had 2 points to round out NP-Mansfield’s scoring.
The win snaps a five game losing streak for the Tigers, now 6-10 on the season. They’ll next host Williamson on Tuesday.
