NTWSR PRESENTS THE LAUREL HEALTH 'ATHLETES OF THE WEEK' (2025-01-26)
Northern Tier WEST Sports ReportTIOGA COUNTY, PA — The NTWSR/Laurel Health ‘Athletes of the Week’ are North Penn-Liberty wrestler Brayden Pequignot and North Penn-Mansfield’s Claire Dominick.
Pequignot started the week with a forfeit win in the Mounties’ 71-6 win over Loyalsock, then earned a 16-0 tech fall in Liberty’s 45-23 win over Wyalusing. The senior then went 5-0 at the Tioga County Duals to help NPL go undefeated and win the title and collected his 100th career win along the way.
Dominick had 16 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists in a loss to NEB and had 15 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists in the Lady Tigers’ win over Sayre.
