NTWSR PRESENTS THE LAUREL HEALTH 'ATHLETES OF THE WEEK' (2025-02-09)
Northern Tier WEST Sports ReportTIOGA COUNTY, PA — The NTWSR / Laurel Health ‘Athletes of the Week’ are Wellsboro swimmer Piper Anderegg and North Penn-Liberty’s Louis Mercantino.
Mercantino had 18 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists in the Mounties’ 92-53 win over Williamson then scored 24 points to lead NPL to a small school clinching win over Canton.
Anderegg led the Lady Hornets to a win over Mifflinburg at a quad meet by finishing second in both the 200 Free (2:10.94) and the 500 Free (5:57.29). The freshman also placed second in the 500 Free (5:45.04) and fourth in the 200 Free (2:07.94) at the Williamsport Invitational.
