NTL GIRLS BASKETBALL: CV FALLS TO SMALL SCHOOL CHAMP NORTHEAST BRADFORD (2025-02-10)
Northern Tier WEST Sports ReportROME, PA — Northeast Bradford built a double-digit lead on the visiting Lady Indians and CV fell to the small school champs 64-39 Monday.
The Lady Panthers took leads of 19-11 after a quarter, 33-23 at the halftime break and 58-35 after three quarters of play as they clinched their sixth straight NTL-II title with the win.
Starr Ordway led Cowanesque Valley in scoring with 10 points while Ella Churchill had 9 points, Jesse Quick had 8, Ashley Woodring scored 7 points, Cassidy Andreason had 4 and Lily Vargeson added 1 point.
CV (8-13) have one regular season game remaining .. at home with Williamson on Wednesday .. and have secured the No. 6 seed in the 8-team field of the District 4 Class 2A playoffs.
