NTWSR PRESENTS THE LAUREL HEALTH 'ATHLETES OF THE WEEK' (March 9, 2025)
Northern Tier WEST Sports ReportTIOGA COUNTY, PA — The final NTWSR / Laurel Health ‘Athlete of the Week’ for the winter sports season is Williamson freshman wrestler Zander Wilson.
Wilson (107), the Sectional and District champ and NE Regional 3rd-place winner, beat Union City junior Van Ward, the Northwest Region runner-up, 10-1 to advance to the quarterfinal round of the PIAA Championships before later being eliminated with a pair of losses .. to the eventual 4th and 6th-place finishers.
