Sophomore Piper Hoprich was a four-time winner for the Lady Hornets Track & Field team in a season-opening tri-meet sweep of Williamson and Troy .. taking first place in the 100 meter dash (12.35), the 200 (25.86), the 4x100 meter relay (53.03) and the 4x400 (4:37.64). 

In a win over Central Mountain, Hoprich won the 100 (12.52), the 200 (26.54) and was on the winning 4x100 relay team (52.70). 

Senior Easton Pequignot helped the Tigers to a 2-0 week, getting a pair of base hits and the game-ending strikeout in Mansfield’s 10-1 win over Towanda, then collecting four RBI and a run scored on two hits (including a 3-run home run) and striking out three to earn the ‘W’ in a 6-4 win over Troy.
