HIGH SCHOOL BASEBALL: COWANESQUE VALLEY ROLLS TO 15-4 WIN OVER OSWAYO VALLEY (2025-04-14)
Northern Tier WEST Sports ReportSHINGLEHOUSE, PA — The Cowanesque Valley baseball team bounced back from their first loss of the season last week and routed host Oswayo Valley 15-4 here Monday.
Logan Stickler had a big day at the plate for CV, collecting three base hits .. with a home run and a double .. and adding five RBI and three runs scored as the Indians had 10 base hits in the win.
Levi Stahli had three hits as well .. with a double .. and had two RBI and a run scored, while Hunter Simonds (2B, 2 RBI, R), Logan Huntington (2 RBI, R), Danny Smith (2 RBI, R) and Dave Hess (R) had a base hit each.
Lucas Hamilton drew two walks in the game and scored three runs, Gavin Churchill scored twice and Isaiah Fuhrer scored once.
Smith started on the mound for the Indians and allowed two runs (1 earned) on no hits and two walks while Ayren Morgan relieved Smith in the first inning and went two and two-third innings giving up a hit and a walk with four strikeouts and Simonds threw the final two and a third innings and allowed two runs (1 earned) on no hits and a walk with one K.
Cowanesque Valley (5-1) is scheduled to host Coudersport on Tuesday.
