Levi Stahli went the distance for CV, allowing three runs (1 earned) on six base hits and a walk with four strikeouts. 

Canton opened the scoring in the top of the first with one run before CV answered with three in the bottom half. The Warriors tied it up at 3-all in the second frame and the score held until the bottom of the fourth.

Cowanesque Valley plated five runs in the fourth and held Canton scoreless the rest of the way.

Dave Hess led the way at the plate for CV, collecting three base hits and scoring two runs, while Ayren Morgan (1 RBI, 1 R), Loagan Stickler (1 RBI) and Stahli (2 RBI) had two base hits each.

Danny Smith (1 RBI), Lucas Hamilton (1 RBI, 2 R), Gavin Churchill and Hunter Simonds (1 R) each had a base hit for CV.

Now 9-1 overall on the season (5-1 NTL, 5-0 Small School Division), Cowanesque Valley is scheduled to visit Troy on Saturday.
