HIGH SCHOOL TRACK & FIELD: NORTH PENN-MANSFIELD COMPETES AT WYALUSING'S LASAGNA INVITE (2025-04-25) Northern Tier WEST Sports Report WYALUSING — The North Penn-Mansfield Track & Field teams competed at the Lasagna Invite on Friday, with the boys finishing in 12th place and the Lady Tigers in 21st.
The boys scored 20.5 points and were led by freshman Sudan Benner’s 2nd-place finish in the 400m (52.63). Benner also won the all-freshman 100m dash event (11.80).
The Tigers’ 4x800m relay team .. made up of Cedric Miller, Peter Bishop, Braden VanLoon and Michael Knefley .. placed 3rd (8:26.63), Miller placed 8th in the 200m dash (24.91) and the Tigers’ remaining points were earned in the high jump, where Luke Kreger was 6th (6-0), Colton Pellett was 7th (5-10) and Tayton Strange tied for 8th (5-10).
The Lady Tigers scored 5.5 points on the day, with Nora Furry taking 5th place in the high jump (4-6) and the 4x800m relay squad .. made up of Kara Barrett, Maryn McCarthy, Alivia Lisowski and Jaci Fairchild .. placed 7th (11:25.16).
