NTL BASEBALL: WILLIAMSON TOPPED BY TOWANDA (2025-05-08)
Northern Tier WEST Sports ReportTIOGA JUNCTION — Williamson fell victim to a one-hit shutout by Towanda, falling 9-0 to the Black Knights in NTL baseball play here Thursday.
Towanda used a pair of 4-run innings .. in the third and seventh frames .. and added a run in the sixth to provide the final.
Sawyer Carleton started and went six innings for Williamson, allowing five earned runs on seven base hits and one walk with four strikeouts. Maddox Hartman finished, throwing the final inning and giving up four unearned runs on three base hits and a walk.
Lhandyn Nauman had the Warriors’ lone base hit in the loss.
Williamson (3-9) is scheduled to visit Wellsboro on Monday.
