NTL SOFTBALL: CV SUFFERS LOPSIDED LOSS TO TROY (2025-05-14)
Northern Tier WEST Sports ReportWESTFIELD — Ashley Woodring hit a two-run home run for Cowanesque Valley’s lone hit of the game as the Lady Indians fell to Troy 19-2 in four innings here Wednesday.
Troy scored nine runs in the first inning before Woodring connected for the two-out homer that also scored Zeraya Wilson, who had drawn one of two walks issued by Troy in the game.
Lilah LaBarron threw all four innings for CV, allowing 19 runs (13 earned) on 13 hits and two walks with one strikeout.
Cowanesque Valley drops to 7-10 on the season with a pair of games remaining, which eliminates the Indians from the District 4 playoffs.
