NTL TRACK & FIELD: WILLIAMSON GIRLS EARN MEDALS ON FIRST DAY OF DISTRICTS (2025-05-15)
Northern Tier WEST Sports ReportWILLIAMSPORT — The Williamson Girls Track & Field team got an early start to their medal haul from the District 4 Championships as three athletes .. Madalynn Bailey, Natalie Yonker and Sayde Loucks .. reached the podium on Day 1 Thursday and Jade Colwell qualified for Saturday’s 100m dash final.
Colwell ran a 12.63 in the 100m preliminary, fifth best among 2A girls.
Bailey placed third in the long jump (16-08.00), Yonker was fourth in the 3200m (11:59.57) and Loucks placed fifth in the discus (97-06.00), where she qualified as the 13th seed.
Anna Lee finished 12th in the long jump (14-09.75) and Aubrey Wells rounded out the Lady Warriors’ Day 1 performances with a 21st-place finish in the 100m hurdles (18.13).
