NTL SOFTBALL: NORTH PENN-LIBERTY FALLS TO WYALUSING IN REGULAR SEASON FINALE (2025-05-16)

WYALUSING — North Penn-Liberty dropped their final game of the regular season here Friday, losing 4-2 to the host Wyalusing Lady Rams. 

Wyalusing took a 2-0 lead after an inning of play, but the Lady Mounties tied it up in the top of the second when Elyna Booth and Kameron Lightner each scored on Wyalusing errors. Booth had reached base after being hit by a pitch while Lightner reached via an error.

The Rams added single runs in the fifth and sixth innings to earn the league win. 

Haley Litzelman had two base hits for Liberty while Claire Dominick and Kaylee Graham had one hit each.

Booth was tagged with the loss, going six innings and allowing four runs (2 earned) on five hits and a walk with seven strikeouts.

The Mounties finish the regular season 13-4 and will enter the District IV 3A playoffs as the No. 2 seed. They’ll host No. 7 seed Warrior Run (9-8) on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m.
