HIGH SCHOOL BASEBALL: WARRIORS END SEASON WITH PAIR OF WINS OVER OSWAYO VALLEY (2025-05-16)
Northern Tier WEST Sports ReportSHINGLEHOUSE — The Williamson baseball team played a doubleheader to end their season here Friday, picking up a pair of wins, 12-7 and 10-0 over Oswayo Valley.
In Game 1, Williamson broke a 6-6 tie in the top of the seventh inning with six runs and won 12-7.
Jack Nolan (1 rbi, 2 runs) and Owen Cilino (2 rbi, 1 run) had two base hits each while Christian Ling (3 runs), Kohen Flynn (2 runs), Lhandon Nauman (2 rbi, 1 run) and Carter Tubbs (1 rbi) had one hit each. Maddox Hartman had an RBI and a run scored, Sawyer Carleton had an RBI and Landyn Carlin scored a run.
Kohen Flynn pitched the first five and a third innings, allowing six runs (2 earned) on four hits and four walks with six strikeouts. Carleton finished, going an inning and two-thirds and giving up one earned run on three hits and a walk with four K’s.
Carleton started Game 2 and went four and two-third innings allowing one hit with two walks and eight strikeouts to lead the Warriors to a 10-0 win.
Flynn (1 rbi, 2 runs) and Weston Copp (1 rbi) had two hits each while Hartman (1 run), Nauman (2 rbi, 1 run), Nolan (1 rbi, 1 run) and Carleton (2 rbi, 1 run) had one each and Ling scored twice and Cilino had an RBI and a run scored.
Williamson ends their season with a record of 5-11.
