NT WEST SPORTS REPORT / LAUREL HEALTH 'ATHLETES OF THE WEEK' (2025-05-18)
Northern Tier WEST Sports ReportTIOGA COUNTY — The NT West Sports Report / Laurel Health ‘Athletes of the Week’ are Wellsboro sophomore Piper Hoprich and junior Luke Kreger from the North Penn-Mansfield Track & Field team.
Hoprich set a new record in the 100m dash in the District 4 Championship prelims (11.98) then won the title in the finals (11.99), won the 200m dash title and set a new D4 record in that (24.55) and also led the Lady Hornets’ 4x400m relay team to a sixth-place finish and qualified for the State Championships.
Kreger tied for second place at Districts and qualified for States in the high jump (6-01).
