NTL SOFTBALL: WILLIAMSON FALLS TO TROY IN FIRST ROUND OF DISTRICT 4 AA PLAYOFFS (2025-05-20)
Northern Tier WEST Sports ReportEAST TROY — No. 6 seed Williamson had their season ended here Tuesday as they fell 10-0 in five innings to No. 3 seed Troy in the quarterfinals of the District 4 Class 2A softball playoffs.
Troy scored two runs in the first inning, one in the second, three in the third and four in the fourth on nine base hits and four Williamson errors.
Kenna Thomas started in the circle for Williamson and was tagged with the loss, pitching two and a third innings and giving up five runs 91 earned) on five hits and a walk. Olivia Gee finished, throwing an inning and two-thirds and allowing five runs (3 earned) on four hits and two walks with three strikeouts.
The Lady Warriors had two base hits in the loss .. one each by Gee and Kaegan Short.
Williamson finishes their season with a record of 11-9.
