LITTLE LEAGUE: WELLSBORO BEATS SOUTHERN TIOGA IN MAJORS BASEBALL OPENER (2025-06-14) Northern Tier WEST Sports Report MANSFIELD — Wellsboro and Southern Tioga opened pool play of their Majors All-Star baseball tournament here Saturday with the Hornets coming out on top, 7-2.
Wellsboro is 1-0 in the West pool, while ST drops to 0-1. The third team in the pool, Tioga-Lawrenceville, hosts Southern Tioga on Monday at 6 pm.
Wellsboro is scheduled to host T-L on Wednesday at 6 pm.
