Northern Tier WEST Sports ReportMANSFIELD — Southern Tioga lost 15-2 to RTL in first round majors softball bracket play here Tuesday.
RTL was the No. 3 team out of the East pool while Southern Tioga is the No. 2 team from the West. They'll face No. 4 East team Canton in the consolation bracket on Thursday.
Wellsboro, the No. 3 team from the West, lost 14-3 to Towanda Tuesday, knocking them into the losers bracket as well. They'll host No. 4 East team Tunkhannock on Thursday.
