HIGH BOYS LEAGUE TIPS OFF (2025-07-06) Northern Tier WEST Sports Report MANSFIELD — The Tioga County Y.M.C.A. boys junior high basketball league kicked off their summer schedule at MU’s Decker Gym on Sunday, with each of five local teams getting two games of off-season experience in.
North Penn-Mansfield went 2-0 .. beating Wellsboro 32-24 and Canton 31-17.
Wellsboro went 1-1 .. following their loss to NPM up with a 48-22 win over North Penn-Liberty.
The Mounties also went 1-1 by rebounding for a 51-41 win over Williamson, who also lost 55-19 to Canton to finish the night 0-2.
Games will continue for the next three Sundays and begin at 5:00 p.m. each evening.
