2024-'25 ALL-TIOGA COUNTY FEMALE ATHLETES OF THE YEAR (2025-07-08)
Northern Tier WEST Sports ReportTIOGA COUNTY — Heading up the All-Tioga County Girls ‘Nifty Nine’ Athletes of the Year list is Wellsboro senior three sport standout, Paige Logsdon.
Paige Logsdon was the All-Tioga County Volleyball Defensive Player of the Year after registering 56 blocks, 165 kills, 160 points, 54 aces and 66 digs in leading the Lady Hornets to the District IV Class 2A championship.
Named to the first team of the All-Tioga County Basketball team, Logsdon averaged a double-double of 10 points and 10.2 rebounds per game for the Hornets, adding 1.9 blocks, 2 assists and 1.7 steals per outing while shooting 72% from the free throw line.
The Lady Hornets’ softball team struggled to find wins on the season, but Logsdon .. an All-Tioga County Softball first teamer, was more than solid, batting .440 with a.533 OBP, 22 base hits, five doubles, a triple and two home runs, 9 RBI, 13 runs scored, 10 walks and 5 stolen bases while throwing 19 innings and going 2-2 with a 5.21 ERA and 18 strikeouts.
The rest of the 2024-’25 All-Tioga County ’Nifty Nine’ Female Athletes of the Year are:
Haley Litzelman, North Penn-Liberty, jr.
Volleyball — First team All-Tioga County Volleyball, had 209 kills, 112 points, 46 aces, 46 blocks and 156 digs for the rebuilding Lady Mounties.
Basketball — All-Tioga County Girls Player of the Year, averaged 16.2 points, 11.9 rebounds, 4 assists, 4.1 steals and 1.8 blocked shots per game for the 9-14 Lady Mounties, 42 threes, shot 65% from the free throw line.
Softball — All-Tioga County Player of the Year, hit .413 with a .464 on-base-percentage, 26 base hits, 15 RBI, 16 runs scored and six stolen bases. Litzelman also proved to be a versatile asset defensively for 14-4 Liberty, playing numerous positions in the field and going 2-0 from the circle.
Ashley Woodring, Cowanesque Valley/Williamson, sr.
Soccer — All-Tioga County Girls Soccer Player of the Year after recording 134 saves with 9 shutout wins for the Williamson Lady Warriors.
Basketball — First team All-Tioga County, averaged double-double of 12.5 points and 12.1 rebounds and added 3 steals per game.
Softball — All-Tioga County second team, .593 BA, .686 OBP, 16 H, 3 2b, 2 3b, 2 HR, 14 RBI, 9 R, 6 BB; Pitching .. 0-1, 19 IP, 14 K, 7.74 ERA.

Cross Country — The All-Tioga County girls XC Runner of the Year, ran 19:12 to earn a 6th place state medal, was the highest finisher from District IV, took second (18:21.2) in the District IV Class AA race and first (18:36.7) at the NTL Cross Country Coaches’ Invitational.
Track & Field — All-Tioga County Distance Track Athlete of the Year, PIAA bronze medal in the 3200m, 1st in the NTL and 2nd at Districts in the 3200m, 3rd at the NTL meet, 4th at Districts and 11th at States in the 1600m, 3rd in the NTL and 11th at Districts in the 800m and was on the Lady Hornets’ 4x400m relay squad that took 3rd at the NTL meet and 10th at Districts.

Basketball — All-Tioga County first team, 13 ppg, 6.4 rpg, 2 spg, 16 3’s.

Kameron Lightner, North Penn-Mansfield, jr.
Volleyball — 198 kills, 103 points, 33 aces, 259 digs.
Basketball — First team All-Tioga County, 12 ppg, 9.5 rpg, 3.2 spg, 8 dbl-dbl
Softball — starting infielder for North Penn-Liberty.,174 ba, .296 obp, 8 h, 8 rbi, 8 r, 8 bb,
Olivia Meisner, Williamson, sr.
Soccer — defense for District qualifier Williamson.
Basketball — All-Tioga County Co-Defensive Player of the Year, Mansfield University commit, averaged 7.7 rebounds (99 defensive) and 1.7 steals per game while blocking 45 shots, adding 10.4 points and 1.3 assists per game.
Track & Field — All-Tioga County Field Athlete of the Year after taking 2nd at Districts in the shot put to qualify for States, finished 12th.

Track & Field — All-Tioga County Girls Track Athlete of the Year, District IV and NTL champ in 100m and 200m dashes, 2nd in the 100m and 3rd in the 200m at the PIAA Championships, member of 2nd place District IV 4x400m relay.
Zeraya Wilson, Cowanesque Valley, jr.
Soccer — First team All-Tioga County, 7 goals, 7 assists.
Softball — All-Tioga County first team, .412 BA, .500 OBP, 21 H, 2 3b, 6 RBI, 25 R, 9 BB, 6 SB.
Track & Field — consistent point earner for Williamson, 8th in 200m, 14th in 100m at NTL’s.
