NTL BOYS SOCCER: WILLIAMSON TAKES GALETON TOURNEY TITLE WITH WIN OVER NORTH PENN-LIBERTY (2025-08-23)
Northern Tier West Sports ReportGALETON — North Penn-Liberty scored first but Williamson netted four unanswered goals to win the Galeton Tournament 4-1 over the Mounties.
Mason Forer scored for the Mounties less than three minutes in off an assist from David Graf and Williamson tied the match at 1-1 on the first of three Braeden Colwell goals on the night at the 19 minute mark of the first half.
Brady Bower scored the Warriors’ fourth goal while Liam Kies had a pair of assists for Williamson and Luca Adriance had one.
Williamson had 10 shots on goal to Liberty’s eight while NPL held a 6-4 advantage in corner kicks.
Warrior keeper Braydin Baker recorded five saves in goal while Mountie keeper Deakon Valentine had six.
Williamson (2-0) is scheduled to return to action on Monday at Northern Potter while North Penn-Liberty (1-1) is at Troy on Wednesday.
