HIGH SCHOOL VOLLEYBALL: HORNETS ROUT LOYALSOCK FOR NON-CONFERENCE WIN (2021-09-15)
Northern Tier West Sports ReportLOYALSOCK — Wellsboro went on the road for their second game in as many nights Wednesday and picked up a non-conference, 3-0 win over host Loyalsock.
The Hornets won 25-12, 25-11 and 25-7.
Emma Owlett and Olivia Chilson each had four kills for Wellsboro, and Maddi Bordas added three. Bordas had five assists and Olivia Servatius had three.
Paige Logsdon had 14 points with seven aces, Emily Starkweather had 10 points and three aces, and Servatius had nine points with three aces. Logsdon added the Hornets’ lone block in the match.
The win pulls Wellsboro back to .500 at 2-2. They’ll visit Troy Saturday.
