HIGH SCHOOL VOLLEYBALL: COWANESQUE VALLEY TOPS NOPO FOR FIRST WIN (2025-08-29)
Northern Tier West Sports ReportWESTFIELD — The Cowanesque Valley volleyball team earned their first win of the season here Friday, edging Northern Potter 3-2.
NoPo won the first set 25-23, followed by a 25-21 win by the Lady Indians and a 25-8 win by Northern Potter to go up 2-1. Cowanesque Valley tied it up with a 25-19 win and won the fifth set 15-10 to complete the comeback.
Taylor Eldridge had five kills and 12 service points with two aces, Reagan Watson had five kills, Arianna Cary had three blocks and Elizabeth Mascho had 14 service points with three aces.
CV (1-2) is scheduled to host Canton on Thursday.
