HIGH SCHOOL CROSS COUNTRY: WELLSBORO'S LAUREN KOSEK WINS CLIFF ROBBINS INVITE (2025-08-30)
Northern Tier West Sports ReportDALLAS — Wellsboro junior Lauren Kosek won the girls’ title at the 50th Annual Cliff Robbins Sr. Memorial Cross Country Invitational on Saturday with a time of 18:58.
Kosek’s winning time was 21 seconds ahead of the runner-up.
Freshman Kaci Kosek finished 42nd out of 178 runners with a time of 23:43 while sophomores Luisa Crocco (29:44) and Anja Przbycien (31:23) finished 141st and 159th.
On the boys’ side, seniors Henry Whitney (16:59) and Max Macias (17:10) placed 7th and 8th, followed by senior Ethan Geneski (106, 21:07), freshman Taitt Webster (110, 21:17), senior Henry Nowak (153, 22:44), freshman Jacob Patterson (179, 23:56), sophomore Jack Hammerton (180, 23:58), freshman Jesse Spicer (200, 25:25) and freshman Austin DeShazo (210, 26:26).
