Northern Tier West Sports ReportTIOGA COUNTY — The Laurel Health ‘Athletes of the Week’ for Tioga County are Wellsboro boys soccer player David Seeling and Lady Hornets Jadyn Dunlap and Haylie Smith.
Seeling, a senior, led the Hornets to a 3-0 start to their season, scoring four goals with two assists in Wellsboro's wins over Jersey Shore (1 goal), Galeton (3 goals, 1 assist) and South Williamsport (1 assist).
Freshman Smith had a goal in each of the Wellsboro girls' three wins this week while sophomore keeper Dunlap recorded a clean sheet in each of the wins and totaled 18 saves.
