HIGH SCHOOL VOLLEYBALL: LADY MOUNTIES DROP NON-LEAGUE MATCH TO WILLIAMSPORT (2025-09-02)
Northern Tier West Sports ReportLIBERTY — North Penn-Liberty lost their first match of the season here Tuesday, falling 3-1 to Williamsport in non-league volleyball action.
Williamsport won the first two sets 25-10 and 25-22 with the Lady Mounties taking the third 25-17 before the Lady Millionaires closed it out with a 25-17 win in the fourth.
Senior Haley Litzelman had 10 kills, nine digs and a block while senior Kameron Lightner had 10 kills and three digs. Junior Madison Smith had 14 assists, two kills and five digs, junior Elaina Shaw had six assists and three kills, sophomore Maddie McNamara had two aces and 13 digs, junior Kendall Graham had two kills and two blocks and junior Gabby Bubeck had three aces, two kills and eight digs.
North Penn-Liberty lost 2-0, 25-14 and 25-9.
The Lady Mounties (2-1) are scheduled to travel to Athens on Thursday.
