Northern Tier West Sports ReportWELLSBORO — The Lady Hornets cruised to a straight set victory over South Williamsport here Tuesday, giving up just 26 points to the Mounties in a 3-0, non-league win.
Wellsboro won the sets 25-10, 25-5 and 25-11.
Maddy Cruttenden had 20 service points with nine aces and added seven digs while Ellie Largey had 19 points with four aces and 21 assists on the night.
Peyton Keane had 14 kills and nine points with five aces, Kendall Sweet had five kills and Blake Eckart and Brooke Wheeler had three kills each with Eckart adding five digs.
The Lady Hornets (3-0) are scheduled to visit Wyalusing on Thursday.
