NTL CROSS COUNTRY: NORTH PENN-MANSFIELD GIRLS TOP WYALUSING (2025-09-02)
Northern Tier West Sports ReportWYALUSING — The North Penn-Mansfield girls’ cross country team beat Wyalusing by taking four of the top five spots, led by winner Jaci Fairchild.
The Lady Tigers won 20-37 behind Fairchild’s win (22:21) as Layla Garverick was second (23:46), Cara Barrett placed third (25:06) and Nora Furry was fifth (25:21).
Moira Wheeler finished eighth (26:22) and Carolyn Cherwinski was ninth (26:59).
In the boys’ race, James Knefly finished second (17:50) as the Tigers fell 25-31 to Wyalusing and 25-32 to Canton.
Brayden VanLoon finished fifth (20:22), Isiah VanLoon was 10th (21:44), Toby Holt was 13th (24:32) and Nolan Palmerton was 18th (26:49).
